The fact that people from Skåne want their coffee a bit darker roasted was something Brazilian Carlos Zoéga knew way back in 1881 when he started to sell his coffee in Helsingborg. This is where it is produced today still. The popular Skåne roast is a tender dark roast, which is characterized by a pleasant fruitiness and notes of dark berries.
